How to make the perfect hard boilded egg

  • Put the eggs in a saucepan with enough water to cover the eggs
  • Add one teaspoon of salt
  • Bring the water to a rolling boil and allow the boil to continue for 1 minute
  • Remove from heat and cover the saucepan for 17 minutes
  • After 17 minutes drain the water and put the eggs in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes
  • Remove the eggs from the chilly water
  • Enjoy the best tasting and easiest to peel hard boiled eggs
